Works as intended. Took me some time to set up though as the chain needs to be quite tight otherwise it will slip, causing the roller to not have the correct position. After taking a couple hours I got this working just fine. Is quite a bulky unit though and not the nicest thing to look at.

This shade driver is awesome. Very easy to set up and pair with my Smart Things app. I ordered two to test and configured them to open before sunrise and after sunset in a matter of minutes. I also love how you can walk up to them and push a single up or down button to let them do their thing. I have a metal beaded pull chain. The blinds manufacturer installed a plastic coupler that was bulky and got stuck in the motor mechanism. This product came with a replacement metal coupler that saved it! Incredible foresight. Now the metal beads catch solidly and don't skip. Ordering 8 more to complete the house today. My only gripe is the included screws that came with the kit are very low quality. Be sure to pre-drill your holes otherwise, the screws won't catch the window frame's wood. One bent 80 degrees on me and I had to bend it back to pull it out of the plastic mount.

took a while to arrive but post to this part of the world has been much slower since the world went into lockdown, item arrived fine, no battery in the remote control, I assume to avoid issue with air freight of it, but that's fine as my main use case was linking to an Alexa set up, and this works perfectly. clear instructions, easy to set up and cable, mounted without issue on the wall and works perfectly. good length on the power supply so no problems running it to the place it needed to be installed. My blinds are old and don't run smoothly the entire range, but the motor does a great job of opening and closing them fine, very happy with my purchase and I think I'll be back for some more for other rooms.

This is the second motor I ordered. This time it arrived very quick. The previous one is working good on a blind just a bit over 2 meter wide. For connecting you need an endless chain. If you don't have that you have to replace your existing chain, connector might block the action.
